About Archways Care
Archways Care is a small independent provider offering quality residential placements in small group situations to adolescents who exhibit behavioural difficulties as a result of past emotional/physical trauma. Children and young people are admitted to our resource/s between the ages of 8 and 18 years.
Our objective is to provide a safe, secure environment in typical family houses accommodating a maximum of four young people. In these placements – with regard to appropriate group dynamics - we will empower them to recognise and deal with their feelings and behaviours, increase their self-esteem and social skills. We achieve this by adopting a ‘good parenting’ approach, thereby enabling our young people to move on to independence, return home or move to a substitute family.
