Educational Support

Each home has a designated trained ASDAN Coordinator. On admission each young person has a personalised programme incorporating Life Skills and curriculum based activities within our Daily Programme, created to offer a positive routine and build self-esteem. We have has many successes within this support programme, with children being awarded nationally accredited qualifications.
The primary aim of such a programme is to acclimatise children back into structured learning with agreed achievable goals.
Once we have gained some stability a referral is made to the Local Authority for a mainstream provision as we feel social inclusion is as necessary as a formal education.
