Red Nose Day!

Following many awareness days throughout the year, the children and staff at Badgers Rest fund-raised for the Red Nose Day. To achieve this, the children completed many tasks within the local community and the home. The staff arranged a "red day" whereby everyone wore red clothing and noses with Archways sponsoring the event. All of the children were very proud to raise £101.50. Well done everyone!!

Army welfare boxes...

All of the staff and children at Archways collected items to send to our troops who are stationed in Afghanistan. The boxes included some sweets, deodorants, shower gels and letters of appreciation.

within the staff team we have some ex-servicemen who have served in various conflicts around the world. One of the member of staff's son is currently serving in Afghanistan with the 2 Mercian (Worcesters and Foresters) and 28 Engineer Regt Hamlen.
