Christmas at Archways

Christmas this year has proven eventful with many stockings to be filled and presents to be wrapped!! Everyone looked forward to a hearty meal and cracker pulling.....

Following the meal, each of us bought a "secret santa" present that, if the truth were told, represents a lot of mickey taking and humour!!

I'll say no more!

The Veg Patch

A portion of the garden has been allocated for the children and staff to grow root vegetables. Within the ASDAN program, the seeds were identified and a planting schedule was agreed. Over the next three months, we all saw the vegetables grow and with much anticipation, they were harvested and prepared.

After much effort and digging the vegetables were eventually ready to be prepared for the evening meal !!

We all enjoyed the "fruits" of our labour and sat down to a evening meal. The children asked if they could now "see in the dark?" , well you never see a rabbit wearing glasses!!
