Below you will find some of the Ofsted comments that have been made in recent years about the quality of care Archways Care provide.

OFSTED 2011

The overall quality rating is 'Outstanding'.

'The home has a clear focus on ensuring young people are protected and that known and potential risks are managed in a way that supports their safety and well being'

OFSTED 2010

The overall quality rating is 'Outstanding'.

'Young people in this home achieve excellent outcomes in all areas of their lives because of the outstanding practice of staff and managers in the home. Staff provide high quality support to enable young people to feel safe, to achieve their full potential and to be as healthy as possible'.

OFSTED 2009

The overall quality rating is Outstanding'.

'Staff encourage young people to communicate concerns without delay so that any issues can be dealt with as quickly as possible. Their concerns are treated seriously and dealt with sensitively'.

OFSTED 2008

The overall quality rating is 'Outstanding'.

'The home provides an environment where individual needs are important and where staff are actively promoting their social inclusion in the home and wider community. The home has a consistent stable staff team that is managed well and supported by sound policies and procedures'.

Student Social Worker comments

In essence to date , with the exception of The Elms - registered July 2011 all of our Residential homes have achieved outstanding in all areas, with Hill Farm achieving this grade for 'four consecutive years'.
